Club Support
The Together More Active program is funded by Sport and Recreation Victoria. Through this funding, our team is able to offer expertise in day to day sports club administration, participation and volunteer capacity building. We provide this service to local sport and active recreation clubs.

Club Support
- 1-on-1 Support and Club Workshops – Topics include Good Governance, Constitution, Administration, Strategic Planning, Building Inclusion, Gender Equity, Child Safety, Grant related support, Volunteer Recruitment etc
- Participation Initiatives – Collaboration for Come and Try days and programs
- Promotion – Promotion of club and active recreation programs to increase awareness and participation in community sport

Participation and Inclusion
We offer participation opportunities for groups that face barriers and workshops for clubs to equip them with the knowledge, tools and resources to create welcoming and inclusive environments for all the diverse groups in the community.

What does this include?

Respect in Sport Standard Program – Capacity building program for clubs on how to create more welcoming and safe environments for women and girls at their clubs

Participation Initiatives – We collaborate with councils, schools and other community organisations for enabling and offering participation opportunities for groups that face barriers

Collaboration with clubs – Collaboration with local clubs for Come and Try days and programs for these groups

Advocacy and Consultancy
Influencing the development of the sport and active recreation sector in Northeast Victoria through collaborations, partnerships and advocacy for aligned outcomes.
