What we do
We support local sport and active recreation clubs helping clubs become stronger, more sustainable, and well run with good governance. We do this by building capacity of the clubs by offering hands-on support, so club committees and volunteers can spend more time delivering experiences for their members and providing sport to the community.
- Club Support – Providing support with all matters that are part-and-parcel of club administration including governance, volunteer retention, policies, and grant related support.
- Participation and Inclusion – In collaboration with sporting clubs, providing participation opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, with a focus on young people, people with disability, women and girls, and multicultural communities.
- Volunteer Solutions – We provide tools and resources along with tailored solutions to streamline club’s volunteer management practices and increase volunteering from within the club environment or externally.
- Capacity Building – We offer resources, support and workshops to build a healthy club environment and the capacity of clubs to be more sustainable.
- Community Partnerships – We collaborate with local councils and community organisations to deliver programs and events to increase awareness and participation in sport and active recreation.
