In partnership with our local Specialist Schools network, and on the back of AFL finals fever, two teams of students from each Borinya Wangaratta Community Partnership, Wangaratta District Specialist School, and Banmira Specialist school played a round robin of AFL Nines down at Norm Minns Oval.

The day was filled with teamwork, friendship, skill-building and plenty of fun, highlighting the many benefits of inclusive sport.

Thank you to the Wangaratta Magpies Football and Netball club for hosting and supplying the equipment, plus a delicious BBQ lunch.

It was a social and active day for the participants, and both Sport North East and the schools are looking forward to the next sports day.
