Meet the newest member of our team – Chris McKnight is your Sport Volunteering Project Officer.

What you can’t tell from his headshot is his accent – originally from Whistler, Canada, he has been proud to call Australia home since 2007.

His background spans across sport, tourism, business, and marketing – from grassroots participation right through to high-performance environments.

The last few weeks he has jumped straight in to continue delivery of the Sport and Recreation Victoria Sustainable Volunteer Workforce Program. He is more than ready to support you – our local clubs and communities to attract, retain, and celebrate the people who keep our local clubs running.

Chris is all ears to hear the challenges and the great wins of all things volunteering in your clubs. He is also armed with tried and tested resources and initiatives to take back to your committee.
