Need help with flood damage?
If your club or association has been impacted by the recent floods, there is FREE help to get your club back to playing as quickly as possible. Regional Sports Assemblies can help through the new Community Sport Flood Recovery program.
Support includes access to grants, support to clean up your facilities, replacing equipment and more. To access support, please fill out the form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2HV92J2 and a member of our friendly team will be in touch to assist you.
Furthermore, the Community Sport Flood Recovery page on the Regional Sport Victoria website gives additional resources and information. It will be continually updated to be your one stop shop for information regarding the initiative.
“There is a lot of information available to sporting club leaders where facilities and equipment are flood impacted. Please give the Sport North East team a call if you are having any difficulty navigating your way or could do with additional support working through the flood recovery phase.” Tim Oliver – Manager Sport North East
Regional Sport Victoria with funding from the Victorian Government hope this initiative makes life easier for volunteer-run clubs, and get regional Victoria back to active sports as soon as possible.
“To say sport and active recreation volunteers have had a challenging time over the past 2 years is an understatement. The floods have taken a personal toll for club volunteers recovering from the impacts of flooding. We’ve structured this support to make it as easy as possible for volunteers to return to sport,” RSV General Manager Meghan Mayman said.
