Active Wangaratta 2018

The Rural City of Wangaratta’s Active Wangaratta Grants Program is now OPEN (applications close Friday 27th April 2018).

The Participation Program Grants aim to provide financial support to local community sporting clubs and organisations to develop new programs, activities and projects which overcome barriers to participation.  The goal if the program is to increase participation by young people.  Rural City of Wangaratta community sporting clubs and organisations can apply for grants up to $2,000.

To be eligible for consideration for an Active Wangaratta – Participation Program Grant, all applicants must demonstrate the following:

• be a community group or an incorporated non-profit organisation;
• have a current Australian bank account in the name of the community group or non-profit organisation;
• have a community project that meets the Active Wangaratta Program outcomes; and,
• submit a completed application form before the program closing date.

The Rural City of Wangaratta will assess each grant application on its individual merits together with the demonstrated potential benefits that the project objectives provide to the local community.
