Fair Play Code

We recently attended the ‘Funding Opportunities and The Fair Play Code’ forum facilitated by Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV) in Yackandandah. The forum was well attended by members from the local sporting community. Thank you to all who came along, we hope the forum was helpful to you with your future projects in mind.

SRV encourages clubs to apply for Category 3 funding under the ‘Sporting Club Grants’ program. Category 3 offers sports clubs up to $5,000 to improve club operational capacity. Future grant recipients must adhere to the Fair Play Code, which includes creating and implementing a policy focused on fairness and equity at their club. Sport North East can assist clubs with creating and implementing policies of this nature, in addition to other policies such as a Child Safe Standards policy, and Code of Conduct.
