Sport and Recreation Development Officer, full-time or part-time, August 2021 – February 2022
We are seeking two enthusiastic, energetic people who are passionate about developing sport and recreation in local communities.
COVID-19 restrictions have significantly impacted regional sporting clubs, leagues, associations, and regional and rural communities. Impacts have included a restricted or non-existent 2020/21 season. In this role you will support clubs to develop COVID-19 Safe Return to Play practices, support volunteers and clubs with committee role retention and recruitment, establish a pathway for financial support and sustainability and develop clear pathways for volunteer and player mental health support.
Eligibility
These roles are available for those who have recently lost their job or experienced a significant reduction of income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
