On Wednesday 6th May, we collaborated with the Wangaratta City FC Club to host our annual All Abilities Soccer Gala 2026.

140 students from 5 local schools across the Northeast Victorian region participated in the event.  Despite the cold and foggy weather, the staff and students’ enthusiasm was contagious. There was celebration and compassion for their team members, cheeky competitiveness and genuine fun, plus a sausage sizzle to sustain everyone’s energy.

Students from Galen Catholic College volunteered as referees and made sure all the participants were supported to have a go in a welcoming environment.

Each participant walked away with a take-home medal to celebrate their incredible effort.

We are already looking forward to next one!
