What's On Offer for Sporting Clubs and Active Recreation

UPDATE – Easing of restrictions in Victoria (COVID-19) – 27th July 2021

The news of easing restrictions is always happy news for us. Easing of restrictions means community sport is back on and no restrictions on the reasons to leave home. Masks have to be worn indoors and outdoors (unless exempted). Public gatherings will be allowed with up to 10 people, with infants under 12 months are not included in the cap.

Physical Recreation Facilities & Community Sport:

  • Open for all age groups, training and competitions. 
  • Maximum of 100 people per indoor space and 300 people per outdoor space
  • Density quotient of 1 person per 4 sqm.
  • Group limit of 10 applies to physical recreation facilities.
  • Community sport limited to number of people required to participate and facilitate activities (i.e. coaches, players). Group limit does not apply for community sport.

Community Facilities

  • Density quotient of 1 person per 4 sqm.
  • Maximum of 100 people per indoor space and 300 people per outdoor space
  • Max group size is 10 people

Spectators are not allowed (excludes people who are necessary for conducting events like teachers, coaches, umpires, carers, parents, trainers and guardians.)
